Aduana Stars made a strong statement with their Mid-Week win at Obuasi AshantiGold on Wednesday as Sam Adams scored the only goal of the game.

The Ogya Boys collected their 17th point of the season with the victory and are joint top of the league standings alongside King Faisal who drew 0-0 at Accra Lions.

This represents their fifth consecutive win of Aduana Stars after going winless in their first three games of the season.

Meanwhile The Miners have dropped to 8th position on the table after 8 games.
