Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Cudjoe Fianoo has confirmed that the much anticipated G-six tournament will be played on 13 November instead of the initially agreed date of 5 November.
According to Mr Fianoo, the shift in date was because the various clubs raised concerns over lack of preparation for the start of the tournament.
“Yes the date has been changed and it’s normal in every human endeavour. We understand them and so we have now changed the date to 13 November,” Mr. Fianoo mentioned to Class Sports
He added “We have also secured a headline sponsor for the competition and still searching for more sponsors,”
The G-six tournament will see Wa All Stars, Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, Bechem United, Aduana Stars and Medeama Sporting Club battle it out for supremacy.
