Karela FC new signing Ismail Ganiu is aiming for a better club performance at the G8 tournament.
The former WA All Stars defender joined the newly promoted premier league side this season and is set to make his competitive debut in the off-season tournament.
The 21-year-old believes they will win the 2018 edition of the GHALCA G8 tournament which kicks off on January 7.
“My target with the G8 of course is to emerge as a winner. The winning habit must welcome the new domestic and there is no better platform than the G8,”
“We are new comers in the Ghana Premier League but the winning mentality and the can do spirit means we can easily handle any team if we find our missing gear.
“The team has one common objective and it is to win. Hopefully team will gel and show the whole world our worth. The quality of players we have on board will speak when we start the tournament. The Pride and Passion will rule and The G8 will provide that opportunity,”he added.
Karela will face Heart of oak in G-8 opener on Saturday.
