Atalanta Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is reportedly set to sign a new contract with the club until 2020.
According to Tuttosport, the priority of President Antonio Percassi is to secure the future of the Coach, in order that he continue his work with the talented crop of youngsters currently on the books with La Dea.
The Bergamaschi are currently enjoying a stand-out campaign and are in the hunt for a European place, residing in fifth position with six games remaining.
Gasperini has a current deal until 2019, however this was signed on arrival this summer, before any such exploits.
Now the club are looking to not only reward the 59-year-old for his efforts, but looking to ward off potential suitors, with Roma reportedly showing an interest in the experienced boss.
