Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Genk have started talks with Aston Villa over Tanzanian striker Mbwana Samatta in a deal which will involve Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil.
Genk wants to bring back Samatta whom they sold to Aston Villa last summer for 8.5 Million Pounds but the English club is asking for 10 Million Pounds and the Belgian outfit have proposed paying 8 Million Pounds and adding Joseph Paintsil to the deal.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that both parties are locked in talks and a fruitful outcome is expected in the coming days.
Paintsil who has a year left on his Genk contract played on loan at Ankaragucu in the just ended season where he netted eleven goals in 33 games as they suffered relegation.
He has also been linked with Fenernahce, Rezispor and Adana Demispor.
