Gent Sporting manager Eric Ceulemans is confident that Ghanaian teenager Samuel Addo will excel at the club.
The Belgian Jupiler League team signed the 18-year-old winger in the just ended summer transfer window after he impressed on trials and the boss of the club believes he is a good addition.
“Samuel Addo already trained with the A-team for a number of weeks during the first part of the preparation period in June, and he already showed that he has a few things to offer. “Cuelemans told the Belgian Press
“He is a dribbling player who can make moves and he also brings a lot of speed and depth. He has only been in our country since this year and has already been able to test run for several months with our promises. If he can perform well in the coming weeks and months If you continue to develop, then it also fits within our philosophy in which we want to give young players plenty of playing opportunities.” He added.
Addo is currently with the Gent Under 19 side but could be promoted to the senior team in January 2022.
