KAA Gent winger Osman Bukari has been handed his debut call-up to the Ghana squad for this month’s 2021 Cup of Nations qualifier matches against South Africa and Sao Tome.
The Black Meteors star is among the foreign-based players invited by coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor for the two matches.
The 22-year old speedster joined KAA Gent last Summer on a three-year deal from Slovakian club AS Trencin.
The former Accra Lions FC player has since gone ahead to become one of the top performers in the Belgian Pro League.
He has so far played twenty-two matches for Gent, scoring four times with four assists to his name in the 2020/21 campaign.
Ghana will take on South Africa on Match 25 before hosting SΓ£o TomΓ© and Principe four days later.
The Black Stars sit at the top of Group C with 9 points and are in search of a ticket to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
