Ex-Black Stars video analyst, Gerald Nus has given his opinion on the performance of Ghana coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor.
In an exclusive interview with Sunyani-based Space FM, Gerald Nus gave his verdict about how the Black Stars coach has fared so far in the helms of affairs.
“As a coach, it always a tricky one to judge a coach. You would need to be in his shoes to know the problems he might be facing before you pass judgment”, he said.
“We only analyse coaches from their games perspectives, but it goes beyond that.”
According to Nus, teams could only be judged by their performance at major tournaments or when they play against big teams.
“We see good performance from the team sometimes, but the most important thing is when they perform well at the big tournaments That’s where you meet big teams.”
He further advised that the performance of national teams shouldn’t be based on qualifying games.
“In the qualifiers, you don’t need to be panicked”, he concluded.
