Ghana Football Association, Presidential aspirant Nana Yaw Amponsah says he will ensure all colts football pitches are fully regrassed if voted into office.
The Phar Rangers boss who is hoping to succeed Kwesi Nyantakyi, in a portion of his manifesto available to SportsworldGhana.com, indicated he would be able to accomplish the task with the collaboration of all DCEs and MPs nationwide as part of his proposed reforms towards the development of grassroot football in the country.
The manifesto, also captured how he intends to further collaborate with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) to develop infrastructure within the districts and constituencies to ensure alignment in the development agenda.
”I voted into office, I am going to collaborate with the DCEs and MPs to ensure we get a well grassed pitches for colts clubs in the various districts across the country through internally generated funds and the District Common Funds, ‘’ Nana Yaw Amponsah who holds Master’s Degree in Sports Law and practice from the Leicester De Monfort University- UK explained to SportsworldGhana.com in a brief interview.
‘’If we decide to do things in our own ways while the DCEs and the MP’ do theirs separately then we will certainly struggle to get to where we want to reach but collaboratively we can work together and come out with the best facilities for the development of our game at the grassroot level,’’.
Former vice president of the federation George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah and Wilfred Osei Parma, and Dr Toni Aubynn have all confirmed their candidature for the Ghana FA presidential race.
