Government of Ghana [GoG] on Wednesday, 19 September gave CAF/FIFA normalization committee the nod to access the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Secretariat.
The Secretariat, aftermath Anas Aremeyaw Anas video documentary dubbed ‘number 12’ triggered the Government taking over the office, tagging it a ‘crime scene’.Which halted officials of the association from accessing.
However, a member of the Normalization Committee, Lawyer Duah Adonten has disclosed that, the site has been handed over to them, to run their tasked of ensuring normalcy in the game of football and also organise elections for new executives.
“Government has handed over the office to the normalization committee”The GFA Secretariat will be our base we have started working especially looking into documents at the office”, Lawyer Duah Adonten told Kumasi based Oyerapa FM.
Lawyer Duah urged on, and said, hopefully in no time Ghanaians will have a lot to hear when the Normalization Committee gets acclimatized.
“Hopefully in about two weeks time, our work will fine tune and we will have a lot to tell Ghanaians”.
