Ghana FA Technical Director Bernhard Lippert and Director of Coaching Education Prof. Joseph Mintah watched the Black Stars training at the Cape Coast Stadium ahead of Thursday’s 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.
The team touched down in Cape Coast on Tuesday afternoon with sixteen players and trained for the first time at the match venue.
Other players who are yet to arrive in the country will move straight to Cape Coast to join their teammates in camp when they land in Accra later today.
Ghana face Sudan at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday, November 12, before travelling to Khartoum three days later for the reverse tie.
CAF has ordered a team must have eleven players and four substitutes to play the matches for the third and fourth rounds of games.
Meanwhile, the country’s football governing body- GFA- has also confirmed the game between Ghana and Sudan will be played behind closed doors.
