Ghana full back Samuel Inkoom was the star man as he helped Torpedo Kutaisi to post an emphatic 4-1 win against Samtredia on Sunday in the Georgian top-flight.
The former FC Basel star was again at his quality best as he lasted the full 90 minutes of the game in his side’s outstanding victory.
Mate Tsintsadze opened the scoring for the home team from the spot after just five minutes on the clock but Giorgi Gadrani equalized for Samtredia in the 13th minute.
Levan Tsotsonava scored in the 30th-minute mark of the game to restore the lead for Torpedo Kutaisi before Dzmitry Rekish extended the lead to 3-1 with a fine strike in the 75th minute.
Four minutes later, Mehdi Boukassi hit the back of the net to wrap up a comprehensive 4-1 victory for the hosts.
The 23-year old former U-20 World Cup winner has been in top form for his team in the Georgian league, playing a total of twenty-three [23] games with a goal to his name.
Torpedo Kutaisi currently sits eighth on the league standings with 36 points after playing 32 matches so far this campaign.
