Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana has returned to England to begin pre-season with English Championship side Southampton FC ahead of the season.
He was handed an extended break after featuring fir Ghana’s Black Stars in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar in Antananarivo on June 18, 2023.
Due to this, he was given permission to arrive late at Staplewood on Wednesday to start preparation ahead of the 2023-24 campaign which starts on August ,2023.
Sulemana is participating in his first pre-season with the club, having joined the Saints in the winter transfer window from French Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais but suffered relegation from the English Premier League.
The Saints will begin their campaign on August 4 away to Sheffield Wednesday at 7pm.
