Ghana Premier League Champions Hearts of Oak have approached former Asante Kotoko defender Emmanuel Agyemang Badu to join the Phobians as they prepare for their African campaign next season.
The 25-year old versatile defender played 11 games for relegated Inter Allies in the just ended 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The former Caf Champions League winners are busy in the transfer market looking for experienced central defenders to bring stability to their backline ahead of the CAF Champions League and domestic competitions.
The former Phar Rangers player, who spent two seasons at Kotoko before joining Inter Allies, played 11 times in the CAF Confederation Cup and featured twice in the CAF Champions League while at Kotoko.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Pure FM, Badu revealed that he has been contacted by Hearts of Oak coaches Samuel Boadu and Hamza Obeng.
“I’ve received a lot of offers from clubs including foreign offers. But, Hearts of Oak coaches both Boadu and Hamza Obeng have spoken to me. So it is now a decision to make as to where I will play next season,” he told mentioned.
