The West African powerhouse are on top of Group G following a narrow 1-0 win over Ethiopia in Cape Coast with South Africa and Zimbabwe amassing a point as a result of their stalemate last Friday.
Speaking ahead of the game, Akonnor says they have learnt from the mistake they did in their game against Ethiopia and are hoping to pick the three points at stake against South Africa,
“It’s a match we’ve taken it very serious, when we played Ethiopia, there were certain things that we needed to do and we’ve learnt from that thing and I believe that come tomorrow we will improve”
“We are looking forward to have a good match and looking forward to have the three points, that’s all” he said.
