Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah Laweh has joined Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor FK on a season-long loan deal from Istanbul Basaksehir in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old versatile defender signed the one-year loan deal after passing a mandatory medical test on Wednesday, 2nd September 2020.
The former Ghana U-20 star spent last season on loan at two Turkish clubs namely Rizespor and Fatih Karagumruk.
He made 17 league appearances for Fatih Karagumruk in the just-ended 2019/20 season and helped them secure promotion to the Turkish top-flight league.
He joined İstanbul Başakşehir F.K from Adana Demorspor in 2016 where he bagged five goals in 69 matches.
His running contract with Basaksehir expires in June 2023.
