Ghana defender Daniel Opare has completed his move to French second-tier RC Lens after agreeing a six-month loan deal with the club.
The former Real Madrid defender has struggled to enjoy playing time at Bundesliga side Augsburg since making a move in the summer of 2015.
Opare was signed to replace Chelsea’s loanee Baba Rahman but failed to meet expectations of the German outfit.
Opare joined Spanish giants Real Madrid 2008 after excelling at the world at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in Korea.
He was a member of the Ghana squad that played at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
