Ghana defender Eric Boakye wins MVP in Cyprus

Ghanaian right-back Eric Boakye has been voted as the best player in the Cypriot League for Week 16.

Boakye was superb as his side Aris Limassol beat Appolon 1-0 in a play off game over the weekend. He defended gallantly and also joined the attack when needed.

The former Asokwa Deportivo defender signed for Aris in the summer of 2022 from SK Olimpija and has so far played 23 games in all competitions scoring 1 goal.

He has been among the best players in Cyprus this season.
