Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom was unlucky as his debut for FC Torpedo Kutaisi ended in 1-0 defeat against Dinamo Batumi in the Georgian Premier League on Saturday. It was the opening day fixture of the 2020/21 season.
The former FC Basel right-back was introduced into the game in the second half to replace Georgian international Vazha Tabatadze.
Grigol Chabradze’s 79th-minute strike was enough to seal a vital 1-0 away win for Dinamo Batumi at the Ramaz Shengelia Stadium.
Inkoom, 31, joined the Georgian top-flight side ahead of the start of the 2020/21 season as reported exclusively by SPORTSworldGhana.com.
The former Asante Kotoko right-back moved to the Ramaz Shengelia Stadium after leaving FC Samtredia, a side he joined in February 2020.
Samuel Inkoom left FC Dunav Ruse in Bulgaria in February last year to join FC Samtredia before switching camp to FC Torpedo Kutaisi.
