Ghanaian duo Fatau Dauda and Farouk Mohammed have won the 2019 Nigeria Premier League title with Enyimba FC.
Enyimba FC were crowned the new champions of the Nigerian top-flight league after thrashing Akwa United 3-0 in their final Championship playoffs match on Wednesday 12th June, 2019.
Reuben Bala, Stanley Dimgba and Abdulrahman Bashir scored a goal each to help Enyimba FC clinch their eighth league title.
Mohammed lasted the entire duration of the game but goalkeeper Fatau Duada wasn’t part of the match-day squad.
Dauda, in 2014, won the South African FA Cup title with Orlando Pirates and also guided Ashanti Gold SC to win the Ghana Premier League a year later.
