Ghana pair Majeed Ashimeru and Musah Nuhu all scored for FC St. Gallen who walloped BSC Young Boys 4-1 at the Kybun Park in the Swiss top-flight league on Wednesday evening.
Musah Nuhu, 22, who has been named in Ghana’s 29-man provisional squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt broke the deadlock for the Green and White side on the 20th minute before Tranquillo Barnetta and Vincent Sierro struck on the 45th and 58th minute respectively to give them a 3-0 lead.
Majeed Ashimeru, however, on the 79th minute with a fine strike registered the fourth goal for St. Gallen.
Nicolas Moumi managed to score the only consolation goal for the visitors on the 67th minute.
The two former WAFA stars lasted the entire duration of the game.
Ashimeru, registered four goals in 35 appearances for FC St. Gallen in his debut season.
Nuhu on the other hand, has made 12 appearances, scoring one one.
