President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt ES Okraku has called for a united front from all stakeholders to help develop and as well grow sports in the country.
The football fraternity has gathered at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Tuesday 1st September to discuss and take key decisions at its 26th Ordinary Congress.
Speaking in his address at the Congress, the GFA boss called for the massive support of all stakeholders to build football in Ghana.
“Let’s come together and build our football. This is the sport that has made me who I am today. This is the sport that brings the country together”, the president of the football governing body said.
He also pleaded with members tarnishing and destroying the image of the association to put a stop to it.
He says doing so hampers the progress of the GFA and will stop potential sponsors from coming on board to help grow Ghana football and even make it batter.
