The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E.S. Okraku has sent his good luck wishes to the Porcupine Warriors as they begin their African campaign.
Kotoko face Mauritanian champions FC Nouadhibou this weekend in the first of the CAF Champions League preliminary stage of qualifiers.
A Kotoko contingent made of the playing body, technical team, management and operational team jetted off from Accra to Mauritania on Wednesday morning.
The Ghana FA President took to his official Facebook page to wish the club well.
He posted ” As you embark on this journey, have it in mind you represent our dear country,Ghana , for which reason the entire country is /will be rooting for you…..We believe the porcupine has the quality to bring us victory and we pray the Almighty God will crown your hard work….Go and make us proud…Faaaaabulous!!! Goodluck #bringbackthelove.”
Meanwhile, reports reaching our outfit suggest the game between Fc Noudhibou and Asante Kotoko has been moved to Sunday November 29.
The game was originally scheduled for Friday November 27, kicking off at 3pm GMT.
