The Ghana Football Association has dragged Bofoakwa Board Member Yaw Boateng Gyan to the Ethics Committee following a wild allegation that Asante Kotoko defender Andrews Appau was dropped from Ghana’s U20 team since he opted not to sign for Dreams FC during the last transfer window.
Appau, 19, sealed a move to Kotoko from lower-tier side Bofoakwa Tano in a three-year contract but was, later on, dropped from the Black Satellites’ team that is currently preparing for their Afcon qualifiers.
Gyan additionally disclosed that the promising player lost his place because he decided not to sign for Dreams FC which was previously owned by Ghana FA president Kurt Okraku.
