Ghana Football Association Executive Member, Mr. Randy Abbey has urged the FA’s Ethics Committee to probe further into allegation made by Bofoakwa Tano chairman, Yaw Boateng Gyan.
Yaw Boateng, a former Black Stars management committee member who was speaking on Accra-based Angel FM, alleged that, new Asante Kotoko SC striker, Andrews Appau was dropped from the Ghana U-20 team because he opted not to sign for the FA president’s team Dreams FC.
Responding to the allegations on Nhyira FM about the said issue, Mr. Randy Abbey encouraged Ghana’s ethics committee to look into the issue and make sure truth prevail.
“I will expect the ethics Committee to invite whoever made the allegations to provide evidence to back his claim so we can take action on it”, he said.
According to the former Hearts of Oak management member, he will be the first person to speak to the issue as it is if the allegations are true and would deal with it diligently.
“If the allegations are true, I’ll be the first person to deal with the issue. I want to know who the Black Satellites management committee member who’s alleged to commit this act if there is truth to it”, he added.
He furthermore revealed that, he only read about the allegation leveled against Dreams FC online.
“I saw the story of U20 player rejected because he didn’t sign for Dreams FC online. I forwarded it to the coach who told me there is no permanent U-20 player”,he concluded.
