The Ghana Football Association, has congratulated striker Jordan Ayew for becoming the leading scoring Ghanaian in the history of the English Premier League.

Ayew’s goal scored Crystal Palace’s second goal of the game, which was enough to guarantee the South London club a 2-0 win over AFC Bournemouth.

The goal, as crucial as it was for Crystal Palace, was also important for the striker as it took him above Tony Yeboah as Ghana’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 25 goals.
