The Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association has in a release, lauded the efforts of Mukarama Abdulai for her stunning performances at the just ended FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The maidens captain won the Golden boot and the bronze ball award having scored seven goals in just four matches at the mundial.

GFA Normalization Committee congratulates Ghana U17 captain, Mukarama Abdulai, for winning the Golden Boot after finishing top scorer at the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup held in Uruguay.
Your penchant for goals saw you score seven goals in four matches. You gallantly led the Black Maidens to advertise the Ghanaian brand of football that captured the imagination of the world.
Winning the Golden Boot as well as the Adidas Bronze Ball (third best player) epitomizes your valiant display of soccer artistry. We encourage you to remain focused and dedicated to your career.
The Normalization Committee also commended the entire Black Maidens team for reaching the quarter-final stage of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Getting to the quarter final stage of a prestigious competition like the world cup is no mean feat. You did the nation proud, and we say ayekoo!
