Ghanaian forward, George Nana Kwame Ofosu scored the only goal for Varzim SC as they threw away a one goal lead to lose 2-1 on the road at Sporting Covilha on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old attacker broke the game’s duck with a beautiful strike after 18 minutes in the first half.
There were no more goals recorded in the match before the half time whistle was blown by the center referee.
