Ghana goalkeeper Joseph Anang Tetteh was adjuded Player of the Match following an outstanding performance on the opening weekend of the new season.

Anang was the standout performer and deservedly earned the Man of the Match award as St. Patrick’s Athletic played out a goalless draw against rivals Bohemian FC at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Annag, additionally earned a spot in the in the League of Ireland Team of the Week.

The highly anticipated encounter attracted a large crowd and lived up to expectations in intensity, with Anang’s heroics proving decisive.

The former West Ham United shot-stopper produced a series of crucial saves to deny Bohemians, particularly in the second half when St. Patrick’s came under sustained pressure.

His sharp reflexes, commanding presence in the penalty area and calm distribution ensured the Saints secured a valuable point in a difficult away fixture.

Anang’s display has been widely praised by fans and pundits alike, with his inclusion in the Team of the Week underlining his growing influence in Irish football.

The Ghanaian goalkeeper joined St. Patrick’s with high expectations and has already begun to justify the club’s faith in him.
