Ghana International Christopher Antwi-Adjei scores, provides assist as Paderborn humiliate leaders Bochum
Black Stars winger, Christopher Antwi-Adjei netted netted his third league goal of the campaign for Paderborn SC as they thrashed League leaders VFL Bochum.
The Ghanaian forward scored the last of his team’s goal in their emphatic 3-0 win over the Blue and Whites in the Bundesliga 2 on Saturday afternoon.
Julian Justvan gave the hosts a 36th minute lead with a left footed strike from center of the box into the bottom right corner to make it 1-0.
Three minutes later, Paderborn were on a fast break and Antwi-Adjei gave Sven Michel a through pass and the attacker made no mistake to finish it off nicely with a left-footed strike to make it 2-0 after 39 minutes.
The Ghanaian forward capped off a sizzling display with a goal inside the 72nd minute of the game with a beautiful finished inside the box to score the icing on the cake goal to make it 3-0.
Paderborn won 3-0 against a difficult to beat Bochum side to move to ninth on the table with 38 points from 28 games.
The 27-year-old played full throttle for his team and has three goals in 25 matches in the Bundesliga 2 campaign for Paderborn SC.
