Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Okine has signed for Swedish second tier side Landskrona BoIS from Kristianstad FC, SportsworldGhana.com can confirm exclusively.
Agim Sopi who is now the manager of Landskrona coached Okine during his time as Rosengard and he believes the Ghanaian will be a good addition to his sqaud.
“With Emmanuel in the squad we spread the defense where we had some injury problems. We know what we get from Okine, it’s a stable fighter. Now, a shutdown for Philip Andersson is also awaiting his heels and Dennis Olofsson is probably going to leave most of the fall’’ Landskrona BoIS, manager Gim Sopi said after the Ghanaian midfielder’s acquisition.
The former Accra Great Olympics player made 16 caps and scored one goal at Kristianstad FC in 2018 before switching camp to Landskrona BoIS on Monday.
Landsrona already have former Berekum Chelsea and Accra Hearts of Oak striker Sadat Karim in their fold.
