Ghana has moved up by one place in the latest FIFA ranking for the month of October.
The Senior National Team having occupied the 53rd place in the world’s football governing body ranking has now climbed to 52nd.
The Black Stars enjoyed a good October after their impressive showings in the double-header against Zimbabwe, beating them twice in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The wins played a part in the country moving up on the standings. however, the Stars maintained their place on the African continent as they languish in 7th place.
Ghana find themselves behind Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Nigerian and Egypt in the order positions from first to seventh.
