Talented youngster Augustine Boakye was once again the centre of attraction when the West African Football Academy played against Dreams FC at the WAFA Park.
WAFA and Dreams were in action on match-day 29 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon, with the game ending in a stalemate.
Two first half goals, one from each team was enough for the game with no winner determined at the end of proceedings in Sogakope.
Augustine Boakye opened the scoring for the Academy Boys in the 41st minute of the game, racing onto a pass from Lawrence Agyekum before beating the Dreams FC goalkeeper.
However, his opener was short-lived as Ali Huzaif got the visitors leveled before the break.
Boakye’s goal means that he has now been directly involved in 18 goals this season in the Ghana Premier League, scoring seven and laying on 11 assists.
Augistine Boakye was also named as Man of the Match at the end of Sunday’s encounter against the ‘Still Believe’ lads.
