Dreams FC produced a dominant second-half performance to overturn a first-half setback and defeat Eleven Wonders FC 5–1 in their Ghana Premier League Week 29 clash at the Tuba Astro Turf on Sunday.
The visitors struck first when Eden Kofi put Eleven Wonders ahead in the 35th minute, giving the bottom-placed side a brief moment of hope.
However, that lead did not last long after the restart. Dreams FC came out of the break with renewed energy and quickly took control of the match.
Just two minutes into the second half, Suraj Seidu levelled the score, bringing the home side back into the contest. From that moment, Dreams FC completely dominated proceedings.
John Antwi then put them in front in the 56th minute with a well-taken strike, completing the turnaround. The pressure continued to mount on Eleven Wonders, and Jonathan Nemorden extended the lead to 3–1 in the 64th minute.
Seidu added his second goal of the game ten minutes later, further strengthening Dreams’ grip on the match. Godfred Sarpong then rounded off the scoring with the fifth goal, sealing a convincing win for the home side.
The result lifts Dreams FC up to 8th place with 40 points, marking a strong return to winning form.
For Eleven Wonders, it was another difficult afternoon as they remain bottom of the table and continue to struggle in their fight against relegation.
