Bibiani Gold Stars produced a dramatic turnaround to defeat Dreams FC 3-2 in their Ghana Premier League Week 16 encounter at Dun’s Park on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Dreams FC made a bright start and raced into a two-goal lead through Abdul Razak Salifu. The forward opened the scoring in the sixth minute before doubling the advantage in the 20th minute, putting the visitors firmly in control early on.

However, Gold Stars refused to give up and returned from the break with renewed determination. The defending champions increased the pressure and finally pulled one back in the 74th minute to spark hope among the home fans. Their persistence paid off again late in the game when they found the equaliser.

With momentum firmly on their side, Gold Stars completed the comeback in stoppage time, grabbing a decisive winner to seal a thrilling victory and protect their perfect home record this season.

The win keeps Bibiani Gold Stars in fifth place on the league table with 20 points, while Dreams FC’s struggles away from home continue. Winfred Dormon’s side remain without an away victory and drop to 15th place. They will aim to recover when they face Basake Holy Stars next.

Gold Stars, meanwhile, turn their attention to a tough test against second-placed Medeama SC as coach Fritz Schmid looks to build on the momentum.
