Godfred Arthur, Samuel Atta Kumi and Seedorf Asante were the key figures as Bibiani Gold Stars fought back to defeat Heart of Lions 2-1 in Week 23 of the Ghana Premier League at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
Bibiani Gold Stars secured a dramatic comeback victory to move into second place on the league table, keeping their title defence firmly on track.
Heart of Lions took the lead in the 36th minute through Seedorf Asante, who finished calmly to give the home side the advantage before halftime. The hosts looked comfortable for much of the game, but the momentum changed in the second half as the visitors increased the pressure.
Samuel Atta Kumi pulled Gold Stars level in the 76th minute, shifting the energy of the match. Deep into stoppage time, substitute Godfred Arthur sealed the turnaround with a late winner, stunning the home fans.
The victory marks three straight wins for the Miners, lifting them to 42 points, just three behind leaders Medeama.
Heart of Lions remain eighth with 30 points and will aim to recover in their next away fixture against Basake Holy Stars. Gold Stars, meanwhile, prepare for a crucial clash against Hearts of Oak, who sit just two points behind them in the title race.
