Former Hearts of Oak striker, Joseph Esso scored a stupendous double for Dreams FC as they defeated Aduana Stars FC in Dawu on Sunday afternoon.
The Still Believe side are on an impressive run of form in the Ghana Premier League going eight straight matches without a defeat and boasting of four consecutive home wins in the 2020-21 season.
After sixteen minutes of play, the Black Stars B striker finished off a typical team play with a tap in to shot the Green and Whites in the lead.
After 31 minutes on the clock, Boateng Agyenim was tripped inside the box and Esso stepped up to slot the ball into the roof of the net to make it 2-0 before the end of the first 45 minutes.
After 62 minutes, Aduana Stars FC pulled one back through Bright Adjei but Agyenim Boateng restored the hosts lead to make it 3-1 on the 70th minute mark.
Four minutes later, Emmanuel Ocran put one into the roof of the net but the visitors replied quickly to make it 4-2 sixty seconds later.
The game ended 4-2 to Dreams FC who move level on points with Asante Kotoko with 23 points.
