Basake Holy Stars will host FC Samartex at CAM Park on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in what promises to be an intriguing Premier League clash.

The league newcomers currently sit in 13th place on the standings, having secured three wins, three draws, and five losses so far. With just a one-point cushion above the relegation zone, Abdulai Gazale’s side will be eager to secure a vital victory to avoid slipping further into danger.

Holy Stars have been relatively solid at CAM Park this season, losing only once at home. Two of their three wins have come at this venue, and they will need to be at their best to challenge the defending champions, FC Samartex.

The Timber Giants, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from a shocking home defeat to Young Apostles, who handed them their first loss at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena this season.

Currently in 6th place with 17 points, Samartex trail league leaders Nations FC by five points. Nurudeen Amadu’s team will aim to recover quickly and respond positively on Sunday, but they must be sharp in front of goal and show strong resolve away from home to secure a win.

Both sides have much to play for, making this a crucial encounter at CAM Park.
