.Stephen Amankona provides leadership by example – The captain of Berekum Chelsea scored a late winner for his team as they defeated Legon Cities by 2-1 at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa. The game was heading towards 1-1 at full time until Amankona who has been outstanding this season for the 2011 champions of Ghana slotted home the match winner. A true leader.
.Joseph Esso is having personal best season – The former Hearts of Oak attacker is marking his best ever football season in the Ghana Premier League after scoring his 11th goal of the season against Inter Allies during Week 18 as Dreams drew the Capeli Boys 1-1.
.Great Olympics becoming credible contenders to win the league – The Wonder club have now defeated league favorites Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko and Medeama at the Accras sports stadium and lead the league table with 33 points a point more than closest challengers Karela United who drew at home to Ashantigold.
.Gama promises to explode in AM role – The Brazilian scored his first goal for Asante Kotoko with a brilliant volley against Eleven Wonders in the 1-1 drawn game. Playing as the attacking midfielder in the 4.2.3.1 formation of match-day coach Johnson Smith, Gama did his job well.
.So far so good for Samuel Boadu – Two games, two wins. Six goals scored and none conceded. Boadu has certainly began well at Hearts of Oak.
