Berekum Chelsea will host Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Golden City Park on Sunday for matchday 32 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Bibires are eager to rebound from their recent 3-2 loss to Great Olympics as they face the Pride of the North in what promises to be a fiercely competitive encounter. Chelsea’s form in their last five matches has been lackluster, with three losses and two wins. To achieve their goal of finishing among the top four, they must approach this match with determination.

In their previous meeting, Berekum Chelsea secured a narrow victory over RTU at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale. They are now aiming to complete the double on their home ground.

While Chelsea focuses on a strong finish, RTU is fighting to avoid relegation. Coach Samuel Boadu’s team is currently eighth in the standings with 48 points and will be seeking maximum points to solidify their position.

In stark contrast, Real Tamale United is at the bottom of the league table with 31 points, facing the threat of relegation with only three matches left in the season. They have recorded two wins and three losses in their last five games, similar to Berekum Chelsea. However, RTU comes into this match with confidence, having defeated league leaders Samartex in their last outing.

Since December 2021, Berekum Chelsea and RTU have met five times. RTU has the upper hand in their head-to-head record, winning three times, drawing once, and losing once.

Both teams are poised for a critical clash, each looking to secure valuable points for their respective goals.
