Ghanaian defender John Boye is among four players selected by Metz to compete for the best player in their 3-1 home win against Lorient in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The experienced Ghanaian guardsman was a pillar at the back as he put the brakes on the attacking force of the visitors at the Stade Saint Symphorien.

Boye’s effort has been recognized and he has been chosen alongside Mathieu Opa, Nguette, Ibrahima Niane and Matthieu Udol for the club’s best player of the game.
The Ghanaian who also the captain Metz has been on great form this season and has arguably been their best player.
