EFA have confirmed that Borg El-Arab Stadium gates will be open to the fans from noon as the Pharaohs host the Blcak Stars of Ghana on Sunday.
The Egyptian Football Association earlier reported that match tickets were sold out as 80,000 fans are expected to thronged the Borg El-Arab Stadium to boost the cheer the Pharaohs chance to seal World Cup qualification over Ghana after 26 years of absence.
“The gates will open for the fans from 12 o’clock, six hours before kick off,’’ EFA manager, Tharwat Sweilam said.
“Every ticket has its own entrance gate number written on it. We hope the fans to be committed to ensure easy access for everyone.’’
Sweilam also confirmed the attendance of some ministers in the stands: “Youth and Sports minister Khaled Abdel-Aziz invited all the ministers to attend the match in the last cabinet meeting and 10 ministers will be among the attendees.
“We have also dedicated 300 seats for 57357 hospital children to let them have the chance to encourage the national team from the stands,’’ he added
The fans are in desperate need of a magnificent performance from the team with the last encounter against Ghana in the back of their mind.
