Ghana defender Harrison Afful has been exempted from the team’s first training today in Cape Coast by Coach James Kwesi Appiah ahead of the Black Stars’ final 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Sunday.
According to sources within the Ghana Football Association, the exclusion of the MLS defender was due to his late arrival on Monday.
Meanwhile, all 23-invited players have arrived in Ghana and currently in Cape Coast to start preparations for the clash.
