Ghana’s tricky winger Thomas Agyapong has reportedly passed a medical test which will enable him finalise his move to Scottish top flight side Hibernian FC within the next few days.
The City Watch reports that, only a few formalities need to be completed before the 21-year old pacey winger joins Neil Lennon’s side on a season-long loan from English Champions Manchester City.
Hibs are said to be obtaining the necessary work permit and SFA endorsement which would allow the Ghanaian international to make the switch to Edinburgh to become Lennon’s fourth signing of the summer.
The 21-year-old, who won his first full cap for Ghana in June 2017, spent the last two seasons on loan at Dutch partner club NAC Breda after previously being dispatched to FC Twente.
Agyepong, a lightning fast winger who excels in one-on-one situations, impressed when given the chance at NAC but was hampered by injuries.
He made 12 appearances in the Eredivisie last season, totalling 446 minutes.
Agaypong joined Manchester City in 2015 from Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy.
