Italian Serie A side Salernitana has promoted 19-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Anorful Annan to the first team of the club.
Annan, who joined from Ghanaian side Eurafrica, will wear the No 40 jersey for the Italian side, and his six-month contract is expected to be extended.
He was on in Italy for trials with Salernitana in January of this year, but an injury prevented him from fully showcasing his abilities, forcing him to return home last month.
He’s expected to be part of the first team for the coming games to play for the senior side after his impressive.
