Ghana Under 20 star Abdul Mugeez Zakaria scored on his league debut for Israeli top-flight side Ashdod FC on Saturday as they drew 1-1 with Hapoel Kiryat Shmona in the Israeli Premier League.
Zakaria who joined Ashdod barely two weeks ago was the star at the Yud Alef Stadium as he put up a superb performance for his side in the crunch encounter.
The 19-year-old winger equalized for his side in the 63rd minute with a breathtaking finish after the visitors had taken the lead through a Muhammed Shaker 37th minute strike.
Ashdod were reduced to ten men with just six minutes before the break as Roei Gordana received a straight red card for a professional foul but the output of Mugeez in particular helped his team snatch a point.
