Ghana youth midfielder Jude Arthur has joined Finnish Veikkausliiga side Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho on a season-long loan from Liberty Professionals.
Arthur, 19, penned a deal with the Seinäjoki-based side after passing a mandatory medical.
He earned promotion to the senior team of the Ghana Premier League side last year.
I’m really glad that we were able to arrange in all, and now I’m here. That’s what I’ve seen here so far, tells me that SJK is a big club and for me this is definitely a good place to develop my career, says Jude Arthur.
I was here already in December and played one match. But now I have been able to better track and explore other players. I enjoyed my stay very well and this is a feel good. It’s a good idea to get involved from the beginning to the pre-season.
I talked to the national team coach and now I want to focus on this opportunity with SJK. That’s why I decided that I’m not going to join the competition in February. However, in no case do I say to the national team in the future , says Arthur about his decision.
The budding defensive enforcer made ten appearances for the Scientific Soccer lads during the first round of the 2018 Ghana Premier League season.
He is currently a member of the Ghana U20 team.
