Ghanaian forward Hafiz Konkoni Wontah was on target for Tanzanian Premier League giant Young Africans SC in the CAF Champions League prelims on Saturday afternoon.
The former Bechem United FC star player was among the goal scorers for the Green and Yellow outfits as they won 5-1 at home against AS Ali Sabieh Djibouti Telecom.
He grabbed the team’s second goal in their emphatic win in the 45th minute mark to make it 2-0 before the halftime whistle with Maxi Nzengeli scoring the first goal.
Pacome Zouzoua, Cement Mzize and a second goal by Nzengeli gave the home team a comfortable 5-1 victory to progress to the next stage of the competition.
