Mensah dazzled throughout April, securing four goals and one assist, including a breathtaking professional hat trick against Central Valley on April 13. Amid an undefeated month for the Red Wolves, Mensah’s contributions extended beyond scoring, boasting 25 duels won, nine shots, five recoveries, and two successful dribbles.
With 2.23 goals scored above expected in 180 minutes of play, Mensah showcased unparalleled prowess on the field, as per American Soccer Analysis. His outstanding performance garnered 43% of the weighted poll, which comprised both the USL League One Technical Committee and an online fan vote on USLLeagueOne.com.
Following Mensah’s commanding lead, Richmond Kickers’ Adrian Billhardt claimed second place with 34%, while Charlotte Independence’s goalkeeper Austin Pack secured third with 12%, backed by 12 saves and two clean sheets.
