Ghanaian attacking-midfielder Johnatan Opoku signs for Dutch side De Graafschap

Ghanaian midfielder Johnatan Opoku Agyemang has signed for Dutch Erste Divisie side De Graafschap Doetinchem.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder run out his contract with VVV Venlo at the end of the season after talks to renew his stay at the club hit the rock.

On Wednesday, August 12, the Blue and Whites announced the capture of the former Venlo playmaker on a two-year subject to one-year renewal option.

Opoku played 19 times in the 2019-20 Netherlands Eredivisie for the Yellow and Blacks and scored six goals with three assists to his name.

With the Ghanaians inclusion, De Graafschap are hopeful of securing promotion to the top-flight.
